Pros:

· Heavy weight reduces felt recoil

· Comes with Hogue grips. I have medium sized hands and they fit me perfectly. Your experience may differ.

· Lawyer markings stamped into the barrel

J Frame Small Revolver in 22lr with full grip, 3” Barrel and adjustable sights

Uses – Very Multipurpose, Plinking, Training, Hiking, Survival, Small Game and Pests at Close range, J Frame Trainer

Construction – All aluminum Frame, Cylinder, and Barrel. Stainless Barrel liner. Clear aluminum finish

Length – 7 ½” Height – 5 1/8” cyl 1.31” Frame at barrel .69” Weight Empty 12.5 oz loaded 13.5

Grip Feel and Desc – Full three finger grip, Small grip but hand filling, Like a piece of clay squeezed, S&W factory grip is cross between rubber and hard plastic. Very neutral balance with a light front bias.

Trigger Feel and Desc – Heavier than standard j frame Reliability Talk about older 63 with lighter trigger. Standard width hammer spur, Talk about previous 317 and that hammer and the really bad pull

Two clicks and travel .47” .28” release no stacking and fairly smooth except heavier but workable for da target work SA is short and light but harder to thumb cock than standard j frame

Options or Mods – Sights Old – New

Recoil and Feel – 12.5 oz weight lets it move more barrel lifts about 10-15 degrees after shot. Sights off target no matter how good the hold. Recoil is easy and gentle but there is recoil in this light 22.

Functioning issues – Only when it gets very dirty.

Accuracy 7yds 40 grain CCI Blazer 7 shots in 1.23” the eight in 1.51”

Likes – Fun, Accurate, Cheap to operate, Lightweight, Adjustable sights, Full Grip, DA trigger can be used like SA

Dislikes – Heavy Trigger, Expensive, SA Cocking will abrade your thumb fairly quick.
