Just found your podcast on iTunes and wanted to correct you on a couple of things. You are corrcet about Glock sending out their pistols with a 5.5lb trigger, but by you putting in a 6lb trigger it doesn’t mean that the striker is hitting the primer with a 1/2lb more force. It’s means you are having to pull the trigger a 1/2lb harder to fire the gun. If you want the striker to hit harder you need to change the striker spring. Another thing, changing the trigger from 5.5lbs to 3lbs shoudn’t make it more risky in shooting yourself if you need to use your gun to protect yourself, since your finger doesn’t go on the trigger till your sights are on your target. If you shoot yourself in the leg or foot, it’s not the triggers fault it’s your fault for having your finger on the trigger when it shouldn’t have been.
