How To Submit Audio Review

Before you can submit audio for the Gun Review Podcast you actually need a program to record it. Audacity is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds.  There is a two-part video over on YouTube.com/gunrights that will show you how to create and submit the audio. It was created for my other podcast but everything pertains to this review podcast. You can also submit it as an MP3 as long as it is of good quality.

Review Guidelines:

1. Automatics, revolvers, shotguns, rifles & machine guns.

2. New, used, old and relics.

3. Civilian or Military firearms.

4. Manufacturer and model number.

5. Finnish type ( blue, stainless, etc.)

6. Custom modifications ( grips, triggers, sights, etc.)

7. Current price ( if you can still buy one new)

8. Photograph you gun. (do not send photographs from other websites)

9. Be as thorough as possible in your description. Remember it’s an audio podcast.

10. Your opinions are good.

11. Is there history behind the gun, tell the tale. How did you get the gun? Where did it come from? Who owned it before you?

Items you need to send with your review:

1. Audio file (either wave or MP3)
2. Photographs (jpg)
3. Text file (txt, doc, docx) containing, your name, contact information, name, city & state you wish to appear on the review, notes that you would like to add to the website, link’s.

Please use a compression program to compress all these files down to a single file (.ZIP).

When saving your file, please name it with the make and model of the firearm and your name you would like to use in the review. Also please don’t forget to send along the photographs that you have taken of your gun. I cannot use photographs that are from the manufacturer website because they have a copyright.

If the single compressed file is less than 10 MB you can e-mail it to me, but most likely it will be over that. So I suggest that you use a service like Transfer Big Files to send your review.
